'In Your Shoe's' Dementia Carers Event
Below is a poster from the first "In Your Shoes" event for carers of people living with dementia.
The focus group took place in March 2024 and the poster was produced from carer feedback of their experiences of caring over the last two years.
Our Forget Me Not Admiral Nurses have now set up a multi-professional working group (including two carers) to take forward some of the action points that arose from the carer focus group.
Our second carer focus group took place at the end of July, the results are to follow.
The third group is to follow towards the end of the year – date to be confirmed.
