Your donation is both a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one, whilst also supporting the provision of care and support to our patients and their families, at a time when they need it most.
What matters to our community is knowing that we will be here for them when they need us, and your generosity will help to ensure that we are able to provide our services, free of charge, for the long-term future.
When in memorial donations have been made, we will also write to the next of kin of the deceased to inform them of the amount of money raised in memory of their loved one. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are required to ask the donator whether they are happy for their details to be passed on to the next of kin in this instance. If you as the donator are happy for us to pass your name on, we require you to contact us to give us your consent.
If you would like to contact us now to give us permission to pass your details on for any previous in memorial donation, please call us on 01624 672222.
Remember and honour the memory and life of a loved one by creating your own Hospice In Loving Memory page.
Many families choose to request donations to charity instead of receiving flowers at a funeral or memorial service, as a way of recognising the valuable care that we provide.
Create a lasting memory of someone special by dedicating a leaf or butterfly on our Tree of Life, which is a unique and fitting way to celebrate a life and remember someone who was special to you.
A large amount of our annual income is generated from gifts in wills (legacy donations), and no gift is too small as every penny donated helps to make a life-changing difference.
One way in which you could honour your loved one is through taking on a new personal challenge, running your very own event, or joining one of ours.
We have a variety of ways you can give your in memory donation that makes it easiest for you.
