Hospice Annual Christmas Car Draw Winner Announced!
Today, the lucky winner of the 2022 Hospice Isle of Man Christmas Car Draw has been announced.
Ticket number 882 bought by MAGGIE MEDDINGS was randomly chosen on the morning of Friday 30th December, to be the winner of a beautiful magnetic blue metallic, new Nissan Qashqai hybrid car.
Speaking of her win, Maggie said “I was absolutely over the moon to receive the call from the Hospice team that I had won the 2022 Christmas Car Draw! I only bought one ticket, so was definitely not expecting it. I try to make donations to charities including Hospice every single Christmas, and this year I decided to make my donation through purchasing the Car Draw ticket. Never in a million years did I think I’d win. This is the best New Year’s gift I could have asked for, a great prize and helping raise funds for Hospice.”
The annual Christmas Car Draw, ran by Hospice and kindly supported by Athol Garage has been running now for 10 years, and this year all 3000 tickets were sold! This makes the 2022 Christmas Car Draw the most popular draw to date.
Although there can only be one winner, each and every person who entered the draw has helped make a huge difference to Hospice Isle of Man, its patients and families. All care is freely available to those across the island, and this couldn’t be possibly without the support received in fundraising events such as the annual Christmas Car Draw. This year, the initiative has raised over £47,000! An incredible amount which will go directly towards patient care.
With the fantastic support of the local community, Hospice can be there for patients and their families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
