Due to the ongoing low risk of COVID-19 and the responsibility of us all to remain vigilant while the pandemic continues throughout the UK and beyond, at Hospice Isle of Man we have decided to make some changes to how we accept donations to our shops.
We want to thank everyone for their continued support, we appreciate this change might affect how you usually donate your items to Hospice. We take our responsibility to protect our shop customers, supporters and volunteers very seriously and we hope you can understand why we feel this change is in the best interests of everyone.
What are the changes?
We have decided to re-direct all donations from the local Hospice Shops to our Hospice Superstore, where we can implement infection prevention measures more robustly.
This means from Thursday 7th January 2021 we will no longer accept any donations at our shops in Port Erin, Castletown, Ramsey, Peel, Douglas - Strand Street, Douglas – Bucks Road and Onchan.
We will not turn anyone away with donations and simply request as of next week these are taken onto our Superstore.
We appreciate getting to our Superstore might be difficult, so we are able to offer a collection service for your donations.
You can call 615055 to book this.
Booked collections will be available on the following days:
Our Hospice Superstore is located at Springham Park (behind B&Q – just past the post office).
