Breeshey and Max, our Bath Half Marathon runners!
Meet two of our Bath Half Marathon runners! Breeshey Jansen and Max Walker are taking on the challenge together.
Breeshey has a lovely reason for wanting to raise money for us; "My beloved Nana, Doreen Kermeen, died in Hospice five years ago on the 24th January 2018. She originally went in for respite care but it turned out her cancer had returned and she didn't have long left. I remember having such a lovely couple of weeks there with her. She was happy, well fed and so talkative. Most importantly, she was comfortable. As a family we have great memories of Hospice, from how she was looked after to how we were supported. I'm delighted to run in her memory, whilst fundraising for Hospice to help other families get the care they deserve."
Max is a keen cyclist, and the furthest he has ran is 8k so the half marathon will be a bit of a challenge for him, but he wants to support Breeshey and run in her nanas honour.
