This weekend was due to be one of the Island’s most anticipated events of the year, Manx Telecom’s Parish Walk. With this year’s event being postponed, Angie Robinson has decided to take on her own challenge this Saturday in support of Hospice Isle of Man, and will be cycling the 85 mile Parish route in memory of her late friend, Teri Waddington.
Angie said, “I am doing this challenge with the sole intention of raising funds for hospice in memory of Teri. Every turn of the pedals I will be thinking of smiling happy Teri and her love for life, family and friends.”
The support we receive from people in our community participating in public events, challenges and their own personal fundraisers really does help us to continue to help others, so it’s fantastic to see such generous community spirit. Angie we wish you the best of luck this weekend and
#thankyou for your support.
If you can, please visit Angie’s JustGiving page and show your support, and if you see Angie and her “Jazzed-up” bike this weekend, be sure to cheer her on!
