It’s a week of celebrations and recognition at Hospice.

Next we have Dr Justine Needham.

Dr Needham has officially been announced as one of Media Isle of Man’s 25 Women of 2025.

In 2024, she assumed the role of Medical Director at Hospice Isle of Man, building upon five or so years of prior service while concurrently practicing as a General Practitioner. A GP with specialised qualifications in palliative care, her dedication to this field stems from an early clinical placement in an acute palliative care unit in Liverpool.

Her approach is centred around dignity, compassion and personalised support — not just for patients, but also their families and carers.

Justine’s heartfelt belief that she is making a difference, no matter how big or small, to so many when they’re at their most vulnerable fuels her passionate pursuit of excellence for herself and her colleagues.

We hope you all agree that this recognition is a fitting tribute to Justine’s work. We look forward to her continued success in this role and her invaluable contributions to Hospice Isle of Man and the wider community.
