Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man Awards

Celebrate your contribution to a sustainable Isle of Man and inspire others!

Enter the UNESCO Biosphere IOM Awards, it’s free and easy to enter.

There are categories for Economy, Education, Energy, Enjoyment/Engagement & Environment.

Sustainable Mann

Sustainable Mann, a pilot workshop series, will be run by UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man, working with the Department for Enterprise, Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, University College Isle of Man and the One World Centre.

Encouraging sustainable development through education is one of the main aims of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere programme globally.

This is a six-week workshop programme which will encourage businesses in our Biosphere to learn about and adopt sustainable practices.

Young Nature Blogger 2021

As a proud part of the Unesco Biosphere, we want to let you know about a good indoor activity for your family!

It involves sitting down to write about your favourite place for wildlife! It's a great way to engage young people with nature and wildlife. For the first time, they are joining up with other Biospheres for an overall trophy and wildlife experience, judged by a celebrity author.
