Great news! We will be able to start meeting again at Hospice to sing together.
After the completion of the questionnaire when people expressed the desire to meet together to sing and the willingness to perform a Lateral Flow Test before each session, our managers have agreed that we can start to get together to sing with some mitigations in place
You will be asked to perform a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before arrival at Hospice (these are available to order online or from your local pharmacy free of charge.)
On arrival you will need to complete a Covid screening and tick to say you have done a LFT and that it’s negative.
You will be required to wear a mask to walk to the Chapel where the session will be held. This can be removed later for singing and refreshments. You will be required to wear it again when you’re on your way out. (Hand gel and masks are available in Reception on arrival).
The Hospice Chapel has plenty of space and a high ceiling. The space is heated; however with the door open to allow good ventilation it may become a little chilly at times, so come prepared with a cardigan or jumper to ensure you don’t get cold. The warm up activities and singing heartily should enable us to keep warm during the session.
We will continue to run the Zoom session concurrently with the live session, so that, those who are not able to attend in person for whatever reason can still benefit from the exercises and join us singing from their home.
We will re-launch the Face to Face session on Tuesday November 9th.
So the next few weeks look like:
It will be great to be back together singing. Do let us know if you have any particular songs you like to be singing together again and we’ll try to fit them in.
We’ll look forward to seeing you either in person or on Zoom!
