Rebecca House Street Races

Join us for a brand new event for 2025 – Sponsored by Boston MFO, the Rebecca House Street Races will take place on the closed streets of Ramsey, in parallel to the Hospice Half Marathon on 23rd March 2025.

The Street Races consist of an accurately measured 1-mile adult race distance plus a shorter 560m children's race for 7-10-year olds. The start and finish line will be in Market Place with the flat and fast course conducted along closed roads in Parliament Street and West Quay.

Whether you are a novice runner or someone more experienced looking to better your time for the iconic mile distance, our event is open to everyone and promises to be a spectacular event for the north of the island this Spring. The event is made possible by the incredible support of our partners Boston MFO and there will be prizes for all age categories in each event.

Entry for the 1-mile event is just £10 for 18 and over, with a discount of £2 for members of Isle of Man / UK affiliated running or athletics clubs. The fee for under-18’s to this event is £6. The shorter children's race is open to children who are a minimum age of 7, maximum age 10, on the day of the race and entry is just £5.

By entering any of these events, you can help us collectively raise £30,000 to fund up to 140 vital palliative care nursing visits for patients receiving end of life care at home.

Our Hospice at Home service enables people with life limiting illnesses to receive expert nursing care and support in the comfort of their own home in their final days. Supporting a patient’s wish to live out their final days in a place of their choosing has a multitude of benefits for the patient and their loved ones, making it a vital option for end of life care.
